TechJoomla. For all things Joomla!

This extension is very very simple to setup :)

1. Installation:

For JBolo version 2.9.3 or greater

A. Unzip the jbolo_2.9.x_revX_unzip_first.zip 

This should give you the following 2 files:

i. com_jbolo_revX.zip - a common installer package(for Jbolo component, modules and plugins).

ii. plg_cb_jbolo_online_revX.zip - CB Plugin

Now, in case you are using older versions of Jbolo-first uninstall these 2 existing extensions ( but make sure you take a backup first if you have made any changes in these 2 extensions). 

-com_jbolo(component),

-mod_jbolo(module)

Then-

a. Install the com_jbolo_revX.zip using the Joomla Extension installer.

b. If you are using Community Builder, you shall need to install plg_cb_jbolo_online_revX.zip using the CB Plugin Installer.

For JBolo versions older than 2.9.3

1. Installation:

A. Unzip the jbolo_unzip.zip .

This should give you the following 4 files:

i. com_jbolo.zip - Joomla Component

ii. mod_jbolo.zip - Joomla module

iii. plg_sys_jbolo_asset.zip - System plugin

iv.plg_cb_jbolo_online.zip - CB Plugin

v. plg_js_jbolo_online.zip- JomSocial Plugin

a. Install the com_jbolo.zip using the Joomla Extension installer.

b. Install and enable the mod_jbolo.zip joomla module. Make sure the module is published on ALL pages. This is very important for it to work properly.

c. Install and enable the plg_sys_jbolo_asset.zip system plugin

d. Now if you are using Community Builder, you shall need to install plg_cb_jbolo_online.zip using the CB Plugin Installer.

e. In case you are using  JomSocial, you need to install plg_js_jbolo_online.zip using the Joomla Extension installer.
