How can you hide a module if the module is not being use?

I am using jTicketing along with Jomsocial 4.0. I have placed the Buy Tickets and Ticket Options module into my JomSocial template on the Event Details page. However, I don't want them to show when not in use. Meaning when an event is created on my site but the user hasn't made it a paid event, these 2 modules should appear on the details page. Right now, I see the module headers with an empty box.
