One key attribute to student course selection is course authorship; this differentiates courses from others, enables authors to develop brand identity, provides a level of trusted content source, and allows students to select the correct version of a similarly-named course from a different author.
Site members are not yet able to create / manage courses from the front-end. Since most sites will not provide administrator access to casual users the Administrator needs to be able to set / modify the "Create By" fields in "Edit Course" and "screen and "Add Course" screens.
