With Shika 1.3.9, we have released a security update for Shika. In some configuration combinations, guests can get access to lessons in paid courses. We have fixed this issue in version 1.3.9. We recommend you upgrade to this release immediately.
We are happy to release Shika 1.3.8. With Shika 1.3.8, course creators can render course’s custom fields on the certificate. During the assessment, Assessors can also preview files uploaded for file upload question type for exercise and quiz. Google Viewer and Microsoft viewer are currently supported.

A new version of our Learning Management System for Joomla is out. Shika 1.2.10 has been released with a small change needed for better GDPR compliance. We have added a new field "Term and conditions" on payment(order) page that the user would need to accept before proceeding with the payment for the “Paid Courses”. Besides this, we have added a new course filter for LMS-filter module that would be displayed for courses at the frontend. Shika 1.2.9 is here and brings a complete rewrite of the Shika JTicketing integration with a simplified workflow. Please make sure you are using v2.1.3 of JTicketing with this version of Shika. Besides this feature, we have also introduced the ability to set/update user timezones from the User import in enrollments.
Before you upgrade Shika, you must first uninstall the current version of jLike from your site. In this version, we have done some packaging changes due to which you need to specifically follow the upgrade instructions.
