JTicketing 2.6 brings some fantastic new features to the Joomla Event ticketing space. We have introduced a set of new filters on the Events page in a more compact format.
Last year, Google made some pricing changes to its Maps APIs. While there is still a pretty big free tier which includes unlimited map embeds, some of the APIs have a free tier limit. Starting JTicketing 2.5.2, we have modified the Google Map services that get used, so that you can stay within the free tier.
We are happy to release a new update for our Joomla event booking system, JTicketing v2.5.1. This is primarily a bug-fix release for the issues reported by our subscribers. We have also done some hygiene improvements in this release.

Shika 1.2.9 is here and brings a complete rewrite of the Shika JTicketing integration with a simplified workflow. Please make sure you are using v2.1.3 of JTicketing with this version of Shika. Besides this feature, we have also introduced the ability to set/update user timezones from the User import in enrollments.
Before you upgrade Shika, you must first uninstall the current version of jLike from your site. In this version, we have done some packaging changes due to which you need to specifically follow the upgrade instructions. If you are upgrading to this version from Shika 1.1.x then make sure you read the release notes.
In keeping with our commitment to ensuring our products are secure and bug-free, we are happy to bring you a security and maintenance release for JTicketing v.2.1.2. We have fixed a few bugs apart from fixing issues found in our audits.

JTicketing v1.8 is here and there’s even more to it than meets the eye! Which is why this blog will delve deep into all the awesome stuff it brings forth. Key highlights of this release include Venue Management and Support for Online events via Adobe Connect.
Initially the major focus of this release was to enable our Learning management system - Shika to support ‘Classroom trainings’ as part of its Blended learning feature. We eventually added quite a lot more that enriched not only JTicketing but also added a lot of value add to Shika.
