Do I need Jomsocial?

I have installed jGive. I have been told that the purchase of jGive includes (jGive, Jomsocial Extension and Payment Gateways), however I cannot see any Jomsocial setup in either Components or Control Panel. My question is "Do I need to purchase Jomsocial seperately?". I want to have all the social includes of Jomsocial. I have a Ticket about it but it seems too difficult a question to receive an answer about. Somebody please assist!
