Just getting started (Beta 14) and noticed a significant issue (that stumped me for a bit).
Many links (esp. course links) were not working on our dev site at first.
After a bit of work I found that the course links don't work unless you have .htaccess and URL re-writing enabled.
That should probably be included in basic docs.
